The owner and founder Eberhardt Rues, of “RHS’ Eco-Friendly Hotels Worldwide” plans to go into semi retirement, - after 55 years in the industry - on October 2011. Hence, Rues is looking for environmental enthusiasts to both take over the RUES Hotel Selection EcoFriendly Hotels Worldwide Web site, and to continue to promote the first environmental hotel group – launched in 1994. “Partnering with Nature, Culture, Tourism, Hotels and Education”
We would like to invite professionals of the “hotel, travel, tourism, media, environmental science and education sectors” to join our “Sustainable Hotel and Tourism Development Consulting Team," in collaboration with Eberhardt Rues. For participating within Private, Public Partnerships - PPP – and/or Alliances with the support of our three brands of “SHTD, RHM&C and RHS EcoFriendly Hotels Worldwide.”
Our key objectives pursue the enhancement of Sustainability and Poverty Reduction by the year 2015 and beyond, primarily for the less fortunate Communities and smaller hotel and tourism businesses around the globe. Based on the principles of “Working Together” with emphasis on “Sustainable Hotel and Tourism Development and Environmental Education.” Hence we would like to welcome hoteliers, consultants, free lancers, teachers and interns to partner with us, with the aim to launch "Sustainable Alliances" toward the following:
1. Sustainable Hotel and Tourism Development:
Regional Developer and Marketer for “Environmentally smaller-mid sized oriented Hotels/Lodges Alliances” in Partnership with “RHS EcoFriendly Hotels Worldwide,” and RHM&C in the United States, Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, Africa, India and Asia.
2. Educational Partners:
Universities and Hotel schools for both the design, development and implementation of environmental curriculums, such as Eco-Hotel Management, Eco-Hotel Marketing, Environmental Agriculture, Renewable Energies, Eco-Hotel Architecture among others. In conjunction to launch, study programs, environmental workshops and seminars. Ideal partners would be: NGO’s and professionals in the field, small, mid-size eco-hotels, nature based tour operators, sustainable communities and others.
3. Internet Marketing Partners:
E-strategy marketing designer, Webmaster, Website designer and other IT experts.
4. Travel & Culinary Writer Partners:
Freelance Travel and Culinary Writer Partners, covering “Off the Beaten Path Tourism Destinations” around the globe that over great natural and cultural resources, such as National and State parks, museums as well culinary schools (please refer to next paragraph).
5. Culinary Chef Partners:
Professional Chefs, for the tasks of: Co-design and co-development of “Culinary Study Programs” (CPS) based on Dual Education System - apprentice ships - as practiced in Germany, Switzerland and Austria; at Hotel and/or Culinary Schools and at training Centers in Hotels: In the Americas and around the world. Linked to environmental agriculture and renewable energies.
What support will be given by SHTD?
The principal Eberhardt Rues shall actively support and/or coordinate with the participating partners in the respective country and/or regions, in the tasks 1., 2., 3., 4 and 5. During a period of 2 days to 6 months, depending on the scope of work to be accomplished.
What type of consulting services shall be offered?
To enhance sustainable hotel operation, administration and marketing, from Quality Management, Food & Beverage, General Management, Marketing Strategies, Training, Project Management and others. For further information, please refer to our Consulting Services.
What are the fees for Rues’ consulting services?
Affordable consulting fees - adapting to the specific tasks and the countries - will be applied. In addition the expenses, such as, transportation cost of land and air and accommodation will be reimbursed by the client.
What are the fees for the Participating Partners?
SHDT is a non-profit organization hence the consulting fees for the Participating Partners shall be similar fees, as being paid by NGO’s in the particular country or region, for social and sustainable community oriented project development assignments.
What fees would be applied for the Website Design Expert?
The expert ideally should be located in the Southern States of the US. The fees shall be determinded once having established the tasks for improvement of our sister Website RUES Hotel Selection EcoFriendly Hotels Worldwide. In addition SHTD, would reimburse the transportation cost; land and air. Accommodation could be in Rues’ Home Office in Dunnellon, Citrus Springs.
What type of Agreements shall be signed?
A written agreement between the principal Eberhardt Rues of SHTD and the participating partner (s) will be signed.
Also, for each consulting project a written agreement between the client (s) and the participating partner (s) will be signed. The scope of tasks and key objectives of the assignment shall be outlined by the client (s).
