Continuous capacity building for communities, owners and all staff of smaller and mid-size hotel and tourism businesses, is paramount: in order to withstand the growing gap between 5 stars up scale EcoResorts/Lodges and smaller and mid-size Eco-Lodging facilities.

Sustainability and Dual Education are universal issues between 2010 and 2015. Both topics are part of Rues’ ongoing interim consultancy primarily in Latin America, since 1993.

Hence, we are presenting two key topics; "Continuous Environmental Education and Eco-Hotel Marketing" - that are often neglected  - for ecotourism based communities around the world. They are taken from Rues’ project proposal and guide book.

The two documents - Spanish version - (*) also, serve as guide lines for both workshops and interim assignments offered by  Eberhardt Rues. With the aim to launch an Environmental Learning and Investigation Center – a small Eco-Hotel School – that function as an arm of both local and International universities.
