As the owner of  - www.yourtranslationteam.com - a full service translation company, Carpenter converted numerous Hotel und Tourism websites from English to German. Based on his reputation and extensive Florida experience, Bernard Carpenter was chosen by Florida USA (FLAUSA), Florida’s official Tourism Promotion Agency, to translate a large part of their website - www.visitflorida.com  - from English into German. Today his full service agency provides translation services in more than 20 language combinations.

Since 2006 Carpenter is focusing on marketing Florida’s Nature and Heritage and “Florida’s off the beaten path” Destinations. Working together with Eco-Tourism Consultant, Senior Hotel Executive and Destination Developer Eberhardt Rues, he was recently invited by some of the “hidden Gems” among the lesser known Florida counties, to explore and to promote the natural treasures of Florida, in his own, unique style. Therefore, Carpenter launched a new, more personal, Florida Web Portal – www.myfloridajourney.com - with the goal to establish an interactive platform between himself and his readers.
