The Sustainable Hotel and Tourism Development Partners assume responsibilities with clear mandate to act on the owner’s behalf. They are problem solvers; consultants and managers in action. They like change and challenges. They place the owner’s interest above them and implement the principles of “Management by Example” and common sense approach. Their leitmotiv is “Action instead of Words.”
The Team
The principal, Eberhardt H. Rues and Partners, form part of the "Sustainable Hotel and Tourism Development Consultants Team" (SHTDCT). They all report directly to the owner and/or other partners.
The Partners are senior hotel executives and experts of various backgrounds from travel writers, food & beverage to environmental experts. They shall form part either individually or within the SHTDCT, according to the nature and complexity of the assignments and of the client’s requirements.

Ulrich Rues, a hand’s on diversified Senior Food and Beverage Consultant, has over 50 years of International experience in Hotels, Cruise Ships, also he owned two Restaurants. Since 1998, Ulrich Rues is a Culinary Consultant – for Schrotkur Hotels - a “German Diet, Fitness and Wellness Program” in Oberstaufen, Allgaeu, Germany.
